The helicopter of Manang Air, which was out of contact, was found in a crashed state. The helicopter flying from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu was found crashed in Lamzura area of Solukhumbu.
Sources informed that the bodies of five of the six people on board the helicopter were found at the crash site. The police have reached the accident site. Rescue operations are ongoing.
The helicopter with the call sign NA-MV which flew from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu at 9:52 in the morning lost contact at 10:1 in the morning. Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung flew the helicopter and five Mexicans were on board.
