One grandson died, one seriously injured due to beating of his father in Baitadi

Darchula. Grandson died in Baitadi due to father’s beating. Resham Saund’s 2-year-old grandson was beaten to death by 50-year-old Ganesh Saund of Mudelidhar, Purchaundi Municipality Ward No. 6 of the district. Similarly, 8-year-old grandson Rijan Saund was seriously injured.

On Thursday, when the mother and grandmother of Resham and Rijn went to cut grass, Ganesh Saund beat them. Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi, spokesperson of District Police Office, Baitadi, said that Resham, who was seriously injured in the beating of Baje, died during treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital.

Similarly, another child is being treated in the ICU at Navjeevan Hospital in Dhangadhi. The police said that his condition is serious.

Reason and Resham’s father was in Dhangadhi for work. Ganesh Saund, who beat up his grandson, has been detained by the police on Thursday. The police said that they will investigate after registering a case of duty killing against him.

She lived on rent in Krishna Subedi’s house in Imadol. 27-year-old doctor Pathak was found dead inside the room where she was staying. The housekeeper informed the police when the room where Dr. Pathak was staying was not opened even till 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

After that, a police team from Satdobato and Imadol went and broke open the locked room of the local people’s representative and doctor Pathak’s relatives in Rohwar. The body was on the floor of the room. A dead body was found with a syringe containing medicine on the bed, empty bottles of medicine used during treatment, an empty syringe in the palm of the right hand and a canon in the left hand.
