Surkhet. In Dailekh, a pregnant woman has been rescued by a Nepali army helicopter. 23-year-old Pavitra Sunar of Athawis Municipality-5 Sugarkhaal Dailekh was rescued by an army helicopter.
Health worker Gavind Shahi informed Nepalkarma that the goldsmith, who was admitted for delivery at Pipalkot health post, had to be rescued after the baby was born but the bleeding did not stop. According to him, Sunar and the child are fine, but the bleeding has not stopped.
Shahi said that a request was made to the District Administration Office Dailekh for rescue and an army helicopter reached Pipalkot from Surkhet under the President’s Women Upliftment Program. He has been recommended to Karnali Province Hospital Surkhet for further treatment.
